Our Story
Havenly Farm is our dream and nothing gives us more pleasure than sharing the life we love. At Havenly Farm, we raise our own grass-fed beef, we sell eggs from our flock of pasture-raised hens, we grow much of our own fruit and vegetables and we harvest honey from our bees and pecans from the trees on the farm. We enjoy bonfires in the firepit beside the creek and enjoy exploring it all astride our amazing Tennessee Walking Horses.
Wilson's Stardust Echo "Duster" is a heritage certified, registered Tennessee Walking Horse who was born in 2003, he is our gentle, black beauty. Duster was a show horse early in life but he had more "slow than go" which makes him perfect for taking care of clients who want their picture with him.

Gold's Summer Breeze "Summer" is a registered Tennessee Walking Horse born in 2006. She came to Havenly Farm as a three-year-old and was "born broke" which means her temperament is such that she always aims to please, reads our minds and knows exactly what we need her to do.

Kayleen and Summer
I grew up on a blackberry farm in Oregon but always dreamed of living in Texas, and yes, I got here as fast as I could. My husband, Chet and I and our two children moved onto this property in 2011. I grew up with horses and wanted a place I could live with them and create as sustainable a life as possible. This land, originally part of the Churchill Fulshear Tract of the Stephen F. Austin Colony, is amazingly fertile and allows us to produce everything we want on ten acres. We live in the red barn and share it with the horses and barn cats, Toulouse and Stumpy and Tango the farm dog. It is technically called a "barndominium" but we call it "home' and enjoy this incredible life nearly oblivious to the encroaching suburbia. We look forward to sharing it all with you.
